One of the many things we love about Lisbon is the street art. It is everywhere, and it is fantastic! There is so much of it that you can even do a guided tour of the best of it, but trust us - there is plenty on show that you will find simply by wandering around the city.
It is so fantastic that we decided to share some of our favourite photos of the art we found on a trip earlier this year!
The weirder and wackier the better, and there are some great examples all over Portugal's amazing capital city.
We always stop and take photos whenever we find a cool bit of art - there is so much of it, that it's almost like a free outdoor art gallery!
Sometimes, such as in the example above, the artist makes themselves known, but so many of them are unsigned and it is a shame that the artist doesn't receive the recognition they deserve.
One of our favourites from our last trip was the one above in the fantastic LX factory which we have featured on our blog before. The slogan 'the dream starts where the dreamer stands' is one of the most fantastic things we have read! What a great mantra to live your life by! We hope you enjoy the art as much as we did.
